What is the Witch Wound? (And Self-Expression Affirmations Inside!)
Hi Beauty!
For hundreds of years women have been unable to express themselves.
We've had to hide our magic.
Our gifts.
And those things that make us most unique.
In the past we were also denied freedom and choice: the ability to marry who we wish, to create financial independence, and to have full ownership over our own lives.
In many cases, it simply wasn’t safe to do so.
So we learned to dim, turn off, or repress certain parts of ourselves.
This is commonly known as the witch wound – the fear, conditioning, and experience that continues to live inside us from generations back.
Today, many of us feel it without even really knowing why.
It can show up as being scared to be our authentic self, to speak our truth, to follow our soul’s purpose, and to express ourselves fully.
The good news is…it may not have been safe back then, but it is now.
And while our bodies may still carry the memory, we have the ability and the tools to reprogram our nervous system and to embody who we are meant to be.
October is a season of witchy things, so now is a great time to focus on this!
I’ve created some affirmations below to help get you started.
Practice these as often as you need, and be sure to get into your body as well.
If you're looking for more support, we’ve created an incredible group of soul-driven women stepping into their greatness and doing this work together.
